2013 Denver Gives Board of Directors

Manda K. Dinkel – Intirm Board President - CPA - Audit Manager - Stark Schenkein, LLP

Prior to joining Stark Schenkein, LLP, Dinkel was Senior Accountant II at the Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora where she resolved budgets, managed investments, and prepared disclosures for audited financial statements. She also served as Assurance Manager at Ehrhardt, Keefe, Steiner & Hottman in Denver where she managed various audits, with a concentration in nonprofits. Dinkel is a licensed CPA in the state of Colorado. She earned a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from Grand Canyon University.  Additionally, Manda is the chair of the young professionals committee for the Colorado CPA Society and is involved with the young professionals at the Denver Chamber of Commerce.

 

Lisa Blandford – Board Vice President - Senior Director Merchant Operations – Mercury

Lisa began working with Denver Gives in January 2011.  A graduate of Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Marketing, she brings over 17 years of experience working with non-profit organizations in fundraising, business development, education, and events planning. Lisa is the Senior Director of Merchant Operations at Mercury Payment Systems and has a broad background in strategic planning, revenue generation, leadership training and coaching, and is a member of the Mercury Gives Committee, an employee outreach program that encourages supporting, volunteering, and participating in the communities Mercury Payment Systems is a part of. Lisa brings enthusiasm, experience and dedication to Denver Gives and is passionate about driving the development and success of Colorado’s non-profit community.

 

Jason Fogland – Treasurer  - Senior Financial Data Mgmt Analyst - Level 3 Communications

Jason joined Denver Gives as a member of the Charity Partnership Committee in January of 2011. He has over 15 years combined experience in the architecture industry and corporate finance.  He currently is a Finance Manager at Level (3) Communications where he focuses on facilitating more confident, quicker decisions through business intelligence improvements.  He works with strategic initiatives, product finance, and financial forecasts.  As an architect working for JP Architecture, he helped to build schools, religious sanctuaries, administration, and event structures.  Jason holds an MBA and Masters Science from the University of Colorado Denver and has volunteered his time in many ways including in fundraising for high achieving underprivileged high school students, environmental awareness and conservation, and helping the underprivileged with home maintenance.

 

Caitlyn Major – Secretary –  Web Content Coordinator – Colorado Society of CPAs

Caitlyn graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelors degree in Communication Studies in the Spring of 2010. She moved to Denver shortly thereafter, and begain working with the marketing committee of Denver Gives in the Fall of 2010. Caitlyn brings a knowledge and passion for social media, public relations, strategic communications, and marketing to the organization. She currently holds the position of Web Content Coordinator at the Colorado Society of CPAs, where she is responsible a wide range of activities including website development, social media, video production, and electronic communications.

 

David Dye - President/Owner - Trail Blaze, Inc.

David works with leaders who want to get more done, build teams that care, and meet their goals. In this motivational leadership speaking, consulting, and coaching David shares twenty years experience in the public and nonprofit sectors including service as an elected city councilman. Prior to starting Trailblaze, David served as Chief Operating Officer for Colorado UpLift where he led efforts to replicate organizations in Phoenix, Orlando, Portland, and New York. Bob Liebhauser – Business Coach – ActionCoach, Inc.

Bob is a franchisee with ActionCOACH Business Coaching, the #1 business coaching organization in the world. He has the privilege of coaching and mentoring business owners in growing their business to give them the life they want to lead. Past life has been in corporate America working with franchisees in the Jiffy Lube organization, McDonald’s organization, as well as two oil companies previously based in Houston. Being a long time marathon runner, he also was involved with Team in Training  for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society in a coaching capacity. Bob came to Denver Gives as a volunteer with the Charity Partnerships Committee and since, through the ActionCOACH’s Coaching for a Cause Program, has become a business Coach for Denver Gives. So strong is his belief in making businesses strong and more efficient organizations, as is his desire to help nonprofits, Bob is also the newest member of the Denver Gives Board of Directors and a presenter for the Educational Series for Small Nonprofits.
