Denver Gives provides non profits with development services to further the organizations purpose at NO COST. Resources are one of the most difficult things to find information on as a small nonprofit. And most of the time, even if the information can be found, a small nonprofit lacks resources like time, staff, and funds to access the information.
In order to participate in any of our programs and services, a charity must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a current 501(c)(3) IRS Status
- Have under $500,000 annual budget
- Have no national affiliation
Denver Gives seeks out business experts to speak to small nonprofits with an annual budget below $400,000 and Denver Gives works with the speakers to tailor a practical, organized and actionable presentation. These trainings are offered on a monthly basis for nonprofits at NO COST!
Here is what some of the Nonprofits that have attended ESSN are saying:
“Denver Gives Provides great resources for small nonprofits for free!”
“This training helped me to assess my organizations strengths and needs while giving me direction about how to better communicate with our audience.”
“Having a free workshop at a convenient time was really appealing to me. The topic is really relevant.”
“Small group. Good interaction. Good exchange with other groups – smaller is better in this case.”
“We need a marketing plan and Denver Gives provided us with how to create one.”

This Program was developed to identify gaps in services to small and medium size nonprofits and charged with filling those gaps. Through technology, funding, and other methods, Denver Gives develops resources that nonprofits can access at no cost to the nonprofit!
E.D.ucational Forum (E.D.F)

This meetings will be held monthly and hosted by Denver Gives at a select location. Topics include, but are not limited to, Colorado’s Nonprofit Landscape, Marketing, Collaboration, Board Leadership and Development, Volunteer Recruitment and Budgeting.
